I love to read, I used to read a book a week. Now I can't afford it, libraries are horrible and I don't want a kindle. #olehproblems

  1. buy a kindle. they're awesome, light, you can get tons of free books online, and you'll get used to it after two minutes.

    - There are many used books to be found around. In Jerusalem I found a complete encyclopedia in a dustbin (try to guess the neighborhood) which I am still using. Ok it is a bit old, but still it is very useful. Some religious books you can buy cheap in Mea Shearim, religious and non-religious 2nd hand can be found in associations (like ESRA in Modi'in), etc. Check out "SECOND HAND BOOKSTORES".

    - Libraries. From the National Library in Givat Ram to the smallest municipal one, all are worth having a look (in my opinion).
