#OlehProblems: Deportation and the Misrad al Hapnim
I went to Misrad HaPanim one day in September to sort something out.
There was an Austrailian woman in front of me in line who was telling the woman behind the desk that she wants to extend her work visa before it expires in October. The woman behind the desk said ""I can give you an appointment in November"".
Aussie: ""but my visa will be expired by then. I may get deported.""
Woman behind desk: ""you won't get deported. There is no other time before then. Goodbye""
I am so sure on October 2 that Aussie was deported straight back to the outback. #olehproblems

Unbeknownst to me, this happened to me when I was 13. My dad went to extend my travel visa and they told him that the only available appointment date was 2 months after the visa expired (and a month after we were leaving). In the end, the yelled at my dad in the airport. He told them it was their own damn fault and they lost out on his money because of it. And then we left.
